The Power Sled 14 kite I used to fly the rig. It costs $40 in a store which is much cheaper than the heavy duty kites professional KAPpers prefer.

I am going to try this with a KAP rig of about 1 pound (~0.5 kg). The rig consists of a Cannon Sure Shot (off EBay) and at least to start, a single Hitec servo for the shutter control.
